Die Ahlener SG wartet auf die Fortsetzung der Saison in der 3. Handball-Liga. Wir haben mit Trainer Sascha Bertow über die aktuelle Situation gesprochen. Mit einer Videotelefonie hat er alle Spieler auf diese schweren Tage eingeschworen. Die Akteure trainieren derzeit in den eigenen vier Wänden. Außerdem haben wir über die Zukunft des BBC Münsterland und die 1. Bundesliga im Rollstuhlbasketball berichtet. Dazu gab es Fußball, Leichtathletik und Sport allgemein. Der Sport ruht wegen der Corona-Krise, aber nicht in unserer Sendung „Sport am Sonntag“.

Radio WAF-Sportcast vom 23.03.2020
Die Corona-Krise zwingt auch die Sportler im aus dem Kreis Warendorf dazu, ihre Aktivitäten auf ein Minimum zurückzuschrauben. Das betrifft auch die Kreisliga B-Fußballer der DJK Milte. In unserer Serie „Kabinengeflüster“ haben wir bei Trainer Volker Hoffmann nachgefragt, wie er seine Mannschaft derzeit fit hält. Diese Frage haben wir auch seinem Trainerkollegen Christian Britscho gestellt, der mit Rot Weiss Ahlen darauf wartet, die Saison in der Fußball-Oberliga fortzusetzen. Dazu gab es weiteren aktuellen Sport mit Leichtathletik, Radsport, Handball und allgemeinem Sport.

Der Corona-Virus stoppt derzeit auch den Sport im Kreis Warendorf. So hat der Deutsche Volleyball-Verband auch die Saison in der 2. Bundesliga der Frauen abgebrochen. Wie geht es für den BSV Ostbevern weiter? Ist er automatisch abgestiegen? Wir haben mit Trainer Dominik Münch gesprochen. Außerdem haben wir eine der erfolgreichsten Pistolenschützinnen in Deutschland vorgestellt: Yvonne Steinke aus Ahlen. Mit Leichtathletik, Handball und Rollstuhlbasketball hatten wir außerdem aktuellen Sport in der Sendung.
