Nu i höst är det dags för val i Uruguay igen. Denna gång ska ny president, kongress och senat väljas. För att förstå detta val och land bättre har vi bjudit in Latinamerikaexperten, Fredrik Uggla Fredrik har gedigen erfarenhet av att forska på politiska frågor och undersöka institutioner. 1993 åkte Fredrik till Chile för att skriva sin C-uppsats i statsvetenskap om demokratiseringsprocesser. 7 år senare doktorerade han på ämnet där han skrev en avhandling om demokratiseringsprocessen i Chile och Uruguay, specifikt relaterat till relationerna mellan fack och stat. Därefter har Fredrik arbetat inom flera olika roller på SIDA, UD och Folke Bernadotte akademin. Han har även varit forskare på nordiska latinamerikainstitutet. I denna podd hjälper Fredrik oss och svarar på våra frågor om valet i Uruguay.
