<p>In this episode of the 38/11 Podcast, we talk about the importance of separating the external from the internal — learning how to deliver a meaningful message without allowing personal pain, trauma, or resentment to distort the purpose behind it.</p><p>This conversation was inspired by a story from someone in the community who received recognition for being there for high school students. While the message started off powerful, it shifted when personal trauma and broader statements about men became part of the conversation. That moment raised a deeper question: how often do we let our internal wounds change the way our message is received?</p><p>This episode is not about tearing anyone down. It’s about understanding that a strong message can lose its clarity when it becomes mixed with unresolved emotion. If the purpose is to inspire, lead, or uplift others, we have to be mindful of what we attach to the message.</p><p>Sometimes the truth gets overlooked when pain is speaking louder than purpose.</p>
