Welcome to Rainbow Book Rats! Get ready for four Queer and quirky besties to unleash our love of LGBTQIA+ romance books (with an emphasis on MM Romance). Join us as we hype, discuss and breakdown the indie queer romance stories of every genre we consume like the feral reading BRats (Book Rats) we are. We are your next MM romance podcast obsession - we will introduce you to MX romance and some FF romance and queer MF romance too!
In Rat Chat episodes expect fun adventures into books we read recently and what we loved about them, then get excited for upcoming book releases on our radars! In Digging Deeper episodes we burrow into the latest buddy read before one BRat dives into a favorite trope, series, author or topic. Expect lots of laughs along the way!
If you're a reader of queer romance or think you'd like to be, if your To Be Read list is as long as your arm and still needs more, then join us every Thursday from 5am EST!
https://www.rainbowbookrats.com/ (https://www.rainbowbookrats.com/) for all the info you need.
Wrap yourself up in your best blanket, grab your rat treats and get ready to burrow in! This Digging Deeper episode’s buddy read is the paranormal MM romance MateHub: Legend by Marie Reynard, chosen by Kit!
The paranormal adult film industry are not prepared for the heat that wolf shifter Richard Knotz is about to unleash when he temporarily mates human Hunter Savage for a series of delicious scenes that will have viewers - and readers - foaming at the mouth. But while both actors expect some seriously hot knotting action, neither of them are prepared for the absolutely feral pull they feel towards each other. Can their relationship last beyond their contracted three months? Get ready for our discussion of this blisteringly hot gay romance!
Of course, no Digging Deeper episode would be complete without one of the BRats bringing us a deep dive into a bookish topic of their choice, and today Caity is serving us a whole cafe worth of joy by digging into the Passing Through Cafe series by Nik Knight. You can expect a lot of laughter, really thoughtful gender exploration, and so many heartwarming moments from this stunning, vibrant urban fantasy series that is really beloved by so many.

Mai Name is Kit and Mai Book is Spooky Because… Spooky season continues here at Rainbow Book Rats: A Queer Romance Podcast! Want to know what spooky books we are looking forward to checking out this month? How about the gay romance books we’ve been devouring recently like tiny little gremlins? You’ve come to the right place!
It’s a Rat Chat week here on Rainbow Book Rats: a Queer Romance Podcast. Brought to you by four (three this week) feral besties who have left their book nests to nerd out about their latest reading recommendations with you, and as always on a Rat Chat episode of our queer podcast, we'll be discussing how our week went, how great the lgbtq romance books we read this week were, and what's on our book radar of new and upcoming queer romance.
JD is feeling the heat with the MM omegaverse romance Heat Lightning by A Knightley, Kit is absolutely melting over the beautiful historical gay romance that is Ourselves and Immortality by Logan Sage Adams, and Caity is back in her mafia daddy era with the MM romance His Fatal Love by Leighton Greene.
Cue the music!
