Each episode they pick a story or three and delve headfirst into how they have been shaped by it. They try to figure what makes the story or storyteller effective and why they love or don't love it.

Eric and Hunter kick off season 4 with an episode about Hunter's favorite superhero, and for once, they're actually on time (sort of) with a trend. They briefly talk about Brand New Day, then go into their favorite live action actors from the movies, and finally talk about Spiderverse and what being Spiderman really means.
