He starred in the second season of The Ultimate Fighter television series showing tremendous heart by fighting with a blown ACL. Gurgel’s match with Diego Saraiva at UFC 73 was designated as the “Fight of the Night” by the UFC. Gurgel has trained known fighters such as former UFC Middleweight Champion Rich Franklin, Justin Edwards, Zoila Frausto, Dustin Hazelett, Jason Butcher, and Sean Salmon.</p><p>Professor Dave “Fluffy” Reeves was awarded the rank of Black Belt under Leonardo “Dalla” Costa and was a member of the “Soldiers of Submission,” under well known Master Lloyd Irvin. Fluffy is a Pans Gold Medalist, and Multi-Time IBJJF Gold Medalist. He has been training and teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu along with Mixed Martial Arts for nearly 15 years. During these years of training and before Fluffy has competed in Brazil, Portugal, Italy and across the United States.</p>
