This session emphasizes that raising godly children and preserving the Christian faith across generations is an essential expression of faithfulness to God. Raising kingdom heirs is not an additional or optional aspect of Christian living; it is central to genuine faith and faithful stewardship.
Building on the previous sessions, which examined the danger of a generation growing up without the knowledge and experience of God and established kingdom posterity as God's design, desire, and demand, this session demonstrates how faithful men and women in Scripture extended their faithfulness beyond their personal lives to their children and future generations.

Kingdom Posterity: God's Design, Desire and Demand
This session emphasizes that raising godly children and preserving a spiritual legacy across generations is not merely a parental responsibility but a divine purpose. God designed kingdom posterity from the beginning, continually desires it, and commands Christian parents to nurture their children in His ways.
Building on the previous session’s study of Judges 2, which identified the knowledge gap, experience gap, and intermingling as factors that contributed to Israel’s spiritual decline, this session explores God’s intention for raising kingdom heirs through three major perspectives.
Practical Applications
Prioritize spiritual formation: Value children's relationship with God above academic achievement, material success, or social recognition.
Teach intentionally: Make biblical instruction a consistent part of family life.
Share personal testimonies: Tell children and grandchildren about God's faithfulness, interventions, and personal encounters.
Model genuine faith: Demonstrate God's righteousness through daily conduct.
Encourage personal encounters with God: Help children move beyond inherited religious knowledge to personally knowing and experiencing God.
Take parental responsibility seriously: Recognize that neglecting the spiritual upbringing of children contradicts God's command.

Kingdom Posterity: Our Heart's Burden
This opening session introduces the burden of Kingdom Posterity—the intentional raising of future generations who will know God, preserve His truth, and advance His Kingdom.
Judges 2:10 reveals a sobering reality: after Joshua and the elders who witnessed God's mighty works had passed away, another generation arose that neither knew the Lord nor His works.
This serves as a warning that a living faith can be lost within a single generation if it is not intentionally nurtured and communicated.

Parenting in a Changing World with an Unchanging God.
The world within which our children are growing or will grow is/would be vastly different from the one in which many of us grew/are growing. As Christian parents, training our kids must be founded on the word of God and principles of God which are unchanging. Basing training solely on external rights and rules will not stand the test of time, but will only raise young Christians that would be swept off their feet as the world changes.
