Rambling is about discovering good things blokes are doing in our local communities.
Shunter and 8-Ball are two old mates who love to explore stories of men doing good things in regional communities - especially in the Geelong and Surf Coast region . We love to scratch beneath the surface of our local communities to see what stories lie beneath,
Each episode we kick off a conversation about life as a bloke in the modern world and see where it leads us. We typically cover topics such as family, business, mental health, music, literature, and sport. Our conversations are rambling, fun and insightful.

Rambling #67: On finding our balance with Ange Tydd
Ange Tydd is a Torquay-based kinesiologist, healer, artist and "village aunty" as she is known by some of her clients. Ange left home at 16 to escape an environment of domestic violence, an experience that gave her a strong sense of right and wrong, and a determination to call out any inappropriate behaviour by men toward women.
After 20 years working as a hairdresser, Ange decided she wanted to help people on a more fundamental level and completed an Advanced Diploma of Applied Kinesiology at the Nicolie O'Neill school of kinesiology in Perth. There she was fortunate to work under Dr Charles Krebs, an American scientist who devoted his life to the study and teaching of kinesiology after it help him walk again following a case of the bends that doctors told him would leave him a paraplegic.
In this episode Ange talks to the Scott and Brian about the pressures her male clients feel in today's world, how embracing a balance between their masculine and feminine sides can help men to be more at ease with their role within the family and society, and how a tough childhood led to her having a strong moral compass and a passion for helping others navigate their way through life.
