She entered Congress in 1987 with a stock portfolio worth up to $785,000.
She left 37 years later having generated more than $133 million in trading profits. A return of 16,930 percent. The Dow Jones Industrial Average over the same period returned roughly 1,500 percent.
She beat the Dow by more than 17,000 percentage points while sitting on committees that wrote legislation directly affecting the companies she was trading.

The commentary on the Fox News segment said it plainly.
This is the kind of stuff that makes people just hate government, hate politicians. It’s disgusting. And apparently it is a very very profitable business to be in, politics.
That last observation is the one that stings most.
Nancy Pelosi did not become one of the wealthiest people in government because she was a brilliant stock picker before she took office. She had less than $800,000 in stocks when she was sworn in. She became worth hundreds of millions of dollars while serving in a position that gave her advance knowledge of legislation, regulatory decisions, defense contracts, pharmaceutical policy, and technology oversight that directly moved the markets she was trading in.
The SEC would investigate a Wall Street trader who made those returns. A corporate executive with that kind of insider knowledge and trading record would face criminal charges. A hedge fund manager producing those numbers while sitting on boards with advance policy information would be in prison.
Nancy Pelosi walked away and nobody did anything about it.
This is not a partisan observation. It is the observation of every American who watches their 401k grind along at market returns while the people writing the laws trade on information they are not supposed to have and generate returns that are mathematically impossible without it.
The answer is not anger. The answer is November 3rd.
Every Republican elected to Congress is one fewer Nancy Pelosi. One fewer person who spent four decades treating public service as a personal enrichment vehicle while ordinary Americans paid the bills, followed the laws, and got none of the inside information.
Rand Paul does not trade stocks while in office. He has been one of the most consistent voices calling for congressional stock trading bans. He believes that people in government should not be able to profit from the information that position gives them.
That is what public service is supposed to look like.

5,000 Police Agencies Are Treating Every Driver Like a Suspect. Rand Paul Says That Is Not How the Fourth Amendment Works.
A young woman bought a new car.
Days later a Flock camera flagged her vehicle as having an insurance issue. She was pulled over. She showed proof of insurance. She was still issued a ticket. The next day in a different county the same thing happened. Another stop. Another alert. Another ticket.
The problem was that her recent car purchase had not yet been updated across the government databases that feed the Flock system. The camera was operating in real time on outdated information. And the burden fell on her to prove that the system flagging her was wrong.

Over 5,000 police agencies have signed on to the Flock camera network. Georgia alone has more license plate readers per capita than any other state. Every time you drive past one of these cameras your plate is photographed, your vehicle is catalogued, and the information is uploaded to a database that law enforcement agencies across the country can search without a warrant.
Rand Paul put it plainly.
“Over 5,000 police agencies have signed on to a camera network that treats every driver like a suspect first and a citizen second. That is not how the Fourth Amendment is supposed to work.”
He is right. The Fourth Amendment protects Americans from unreasonable searches. The founders did not write it to apply only when a specific crime was suspected. They wrote it because they understood what it feels like to live under a government that monitors its citizens without cause and uses that information as a tool of control.
The Flock system does not require suspicion. It does not require a warrant. It photographs every vehicle that passes every camera automatically. All of it stored. All of it searchable. And as the Georgia family discovered, all of it capable of generating false alerts that pull innocent people over and place the burden of proof on them rather than on the system that flagged them incorrectly.
An Emory professor who studies this put it clearly. We built a system that uses data sets that have not been updated. And errors spread just as quickly as valid alerts. We have to fix those before we can trust these systems.
But the cameras keep going up. The database keeps growing. The 5,000 agencies keep expanding the network. And nobody is asking whether any of this is constitutional.
Nobody except Rand Paul.

Rand Paul Just Found Where Fauci Got the Six-Foot Rule
Jerry Seinfeld had it figured out decades ago.
Personal distance is a very important thing. There is a new personal distance. ATM distance. When someone is using an ATM you want to be about six feet back. Because people get a little edgy around that ATM. Their eyes are darting all around.
The other place you want to be about six feet away is a urinal.
ATMs and urinals. Whenever someone is taking valuables out of their pants, you want to give them as much room as possible.
Rand Paul posted the clip with one line.
“Now we know where Anthony Fauci got his six-foot rule from.”

The joke lands because the underlying point is genuinely damning.
The six-foot social distancing rule that shut down schools, destroyed small businesses, ended family gatherings, kept elderly people isolated from their children and grandchildren, and defined American life for two years was never based on scientific evidence. It was not derived from rigorous studies. It was not validated by data. A senior CDC official admitted to Congress that the six-foot rule simply appeared and was likely based on intuition rather than any specific study.
Fauci and his team took a number that belonged in a Seinfeld bit about ATMs and urinals, attached it to a federal mandate, and enforced it on every American regardless of age, health status, location, or actual risk.
Schools closed for two years based on this rule. Children fell behind academically and socially in ways that studies are still documenting. Small restaurants that could not maintain six feet of distance between tables shut down permanently. Churches that could not spread their congregations far enough apart were fined or shuttered. Families kept grandparents away from grandchildren for months based on the same scientific foundation as a 1990s stand-up routine.
Rand Paul sat across from Fauci in hearing after hearing and demanded the data behind these decisions. Fauci called him wrong. The media called Paul dangerous. Social media platforms censored anyone who questioned the rules.
The six-foot rule came from the same place as ATM anxiety.
Paul knew it at the time. The declassified documents confirmed it. And now a Seinfeld clip from thirty years ago makes the point more effectively than any Senate hearing ever could.
