Christian Nationalism Problems - Who is the enemy?
A short intro to some thoughts on Christian nationalism. Should we team up with the Roman Catholics to defeat our so-called "common enemy?" No!

Getting Started Raising Pigs on Pasture
In this this episode I briefly describe what it takes to raise pigs on pasture. Hopefully it's encouraging, especially for those of you who tend to overanalyze things like I do.

A Start in Considering What is the God of this Age
As I was driving to feed my pigs, I thought I would share what I've been thinking about regarding the god of this age. You see, humans are created to worship something, but today we don't worship images of gold or silver or wood. This makes it hard to see the idols of our age and the god behind them. The question I have been asking is what is this god? The answer I come back to is the internet, as it most purely reflects what we ourselves desire to be. Anyway, it's a little bit random, but it's a start on putting my thinking into words.

A Grammar Thing: Gender vs Sex
Boy am I a dummy! I finally figured out what people are saying when they say that gender is related to grammar. Maybe you already knew this, but if not hopefully it's helpful.

Abortion, always evil?
JP Sears put out a video recently regarding abortion. I interact with this. I appreciate that he's trying to be intellectually honest and to take responsibility for his own ideas. I do disagree with part of his conclusions, and I hope that after hearing this it is clear why. Murder is always wrong, and abortion is murder.

Robots, Centralized Brain, Inversions
iRobot. I watched it. It gave me some thoughts regarding humanity's being hellbent on suicide, the dangers of centralization, and the inversions we create to try and get rid of God.

Voluntary Slavery - Comfort, Corporations, Etc.
We are always enslaved to something. My contention is there are only two options. We have enslaved ourselves to the harsh master of comfort, are we ready to give up that idle (pun intended, instead of idol, get it? :-) ) in order to be set free?

Efficient Dehumanization - Humans and Work
This episode takes a rambling stroll through the idea that efficiency as a goal dehumanizes. Having worked in an office managing people, and learning about continuous improvement (namely lean), I have begun to question the idea of efficiency, especially as a goal. Jaques Ellul (unless I got it wrong), in relation to technology, said something like "man is seeking an improved means to an unimproved end." Perhaps we have become less than human in our unending search to make more stuff with less effort. Perhaps humans are meant to take more time at what they do and maybe consume less. Perhaps our search for more has begun to change how we perceive humanity, especially in regards to work. Hope the ramble is worth the listen. If you have any feedback let me know, josh@randomconfab.com.

Absolute Truth, The "Left," Progressivism, and the Constitution
A ramble while driving to work. Sorry about the audio. Was talking with my daughter about progressivism and I got to thinking about how truth becomes subjective with no absolutes, and therefore is based on power and not law. Etc., etc. Hope it is interesting. josh@randomconfab.com if you want to send me any feedback.

Lies and Masks
I talk about my four points that must hold before I will put a lie on my face in the form of a mask. If any one of these points falls I cannot help but see the wearing of a mask is simply a lie that I wear. I hope this episode is helpful in thinking through these issues, and I hope I don’t come across as someone who knows all the answers. Enjoy the episode, and always feel free to leave feedback by sending me an email at josh@randomconfab.com.

Collectivism Coronavirus and the Battle
Just some of my thoughts regarding this whole coronavirus lockdown and now a new source of division among people. This is a battle being played out, a spiritual battle. Humans are being driven apart from each other. The virus is not the only sickness, and it’s good to be aware of these things. Just thought I’d throw a few thoughts out there unscripted, but I’m planning on studying and writing and hopefully releasing some material that is more thoughtful and well put together.

Work and Commuting
Driving to work there was a traffic backup going the opposite way, so my thoughts went to work and commuting and what is different about working for a large organization vs a small business or being self-employed. This is my first episode, it's a bit rough, but hope it is enjoyable.
