In der achten Folge der Raucherecke wollen wir die Auswirkungen des Rauchens auf das Gehirn und insbesondere die Sucht näher beleuchten. Hierzu haben wir den Experten PD Dr. med. Alexander Glahn zu Gast. Er ist geschäftsführender Oberarzt der Klinik für Psychiatrie, Sozialpsychiatrie und Psychotherapie der MHH und leitet die psychiatrischen Institutsambulanz sowie die Hochschulambulanz und wurde für seine Arbeit, Forschung und Lehre mehrfach ausgezeichnet. Herr PD Dr. Glahn wird uns spannende Einblicke in die Auswirkungen einer Sucht geben und erklären, was dabei im Gehirn eigentlich vor sich geht, warum Kinder und Jugendliche in der Suchtforschung eine ganz besondere Stellung haben, wie neue Trends wie Vaping oder Snus einzuordnen sind und was für das Aufhören wichtig ist. In der siebten Folge der Raucherecke widmen wir uns mit Hilfe von Herrn Prof. Dr. Axel Haverich den Auswirkungen des Rauchens auf das Herz und die Gefäße. Professor Haverich ist Direktor der Klinik für Herz-Thorax, - Translantations, - und Gefäßchirurgie der MHH und klärt uns zu Atherosklerose, Herzinfarkt und mehr auf. #06 - Krankheitsvorgänge in der Lunge - Hanse Studie Part II
Nachdem wir in der letzten Folge über die Auswirkungen des Rauchens auf die Lunge im Rahmen der Hanse-Studie gesprochen haben, wollen wir in dieser Folge der Raucherecke die Pathophysiologie (= Beschreibung des Krankheitsvorgangs) dahinter ergründen. Hierbei steht uns Herr Dr. Bollmann, Oberarzt der Pneumologie der MHH, zur Seite und gibt uns Antworten auf all unsere Fragen.
