Raw, Authentic & Vulnerable

About Raw, Authentic & Vulnerable

Jacob Newton, Contributor at SportsE Media, is a professional hockey player and mental health coach. He is the host of the Raw Authentic & Vulnerable Podcast (RAV). Jake is the sum of his past experiences -- with some beautiful labels that he's grateful to have. A father to his two amazing children, Harper and Nash. A mental health advocate. A professional hockey player. Mental health has become his biggest passion outside of being a father and a hockey player. Jacob has created content centered around his journey of self-healing and mental health, and now he is taking his game to the next level with this podcast on SportsE Media. It is his goal to be relatable in his approach by being raw, authentic, and vulnerable. Jacob wants the world to be a healthier place--for himself and, more importantly, his two kids. The RAV podcast is centered around Jacob's unique stories and experiences with mental health, specifically mental health in sports. Jacob Newton will feature guests who have experienced things on their journey that have impacted their mental state. Things that have happened to them. All of it... Raw, Authentic, and Vulnerable.

As a yoga instructor and disciple of Jesus, Gigi Evan's divine purpose is to minister to others and help them cultivate a deeper connection with God. We explored her past, what kept her from deepening her relationship with Jesus, and how she could walk her path with him again.
