Join us as we listen to today's episode on " Biblical Giving" by Rev. Dr. Joseph Nelson.
The sermon teaches that giving is an act of reverence, gratitude and faithfulness to God (Proverbs 3:9–10).
The three main types of giving are first fruits, tithes and freewill offerings.
First fruits involve giving God the first and best of what we receive as an expression of honour and thanksgiving (Deuteronomy 26:1–10). Tithing involves giving a tenth of our income to God, following Abraham’s example and recognising Him as our provider.
Through Christ, the blessings of Abraham are made available to us (Galatians 3:14, 29). Freewill offerings include church offerings, special contributions, fundraising and giving to support fellow believers.
We must give faithfully without rationalising or postponing our tithes. Our giving should come from a heart of reverence and a desire to fulfil God's purpose, trusting Him with what He has given us.
Key Takeaway: Honour God with your first and best, giving faithfully and gratefully.

Episode 64 - Prayer And Fasting
Join us as we listen to today's episode on "Prayer and Fasting" by Rev. Dr. Joseph Nelson.
Prayer and fasting help believers humble themselves before God, break spiritual strongholds and create room for divine intervention (Isaiah 58:6; Ezra 8:21).
They must be practised with sincere hearts and the right intentions, not to gain recognition from others (Matthew 6:17–18).
Prayer and fasting empower believers to overcome spiritual battles, receive divine direction, walk in spiritual authority and grow stronger in faith (Mark 9:28–29).
As seen in Luke 4:1–18, fasting and the power of the Holy Spirit are important in spiritual growth and fulfilling God's purpose.
To fast and pray effectively, we must prepare our hearts, approach God with humility and sincerity, and maintain a devoted attitude (Joel 2:12; Matthew 6:6, 16–18).
When we approach prayer and fasting properly, we deepen our fellowship with God and position ourselves to receive answers to prayer and experience His intervention.
Key Takeaway: Prayer and fasting strengthen our faith, deepen our relationship with God and prepare us to experience His power, direction and supernatural intervention.

Episode 63 - Influencing The MarketPlace
Join us as we listen to "Influencing the Market Place" by Rev. Dr. Joseph Nelson.
The marketplace is a physical or digital space where buyers and sellers exchange goods and services.
As believers, God expects us to demonstrate godly influence wherever we find ourselves, including the marketplace, without compromising our faith.
We can influence the marketplace without compromise by purifying our hearts and being mindful of what we allow into them (Psalm 45:7).
We must also build fellowship with God and the Holy Spirit, as this gives us spiritual understanding, helps us navigate life, and reduces anxiety.
Another way is to transmit our skills to others by teaching and helping people grow, while also influencing them spiritually (Exodus 35:34; Acts 18).
Finally, we must pray for our marketplace, asking God to establish His will, bring peace, and guide our influence.
Key Takeaway: God has placed us in the world to influence it towards Him, and our conduct, skills, relationships, and prayers should reflect that purpose.
