This is Brushstrokes. The podcast that explores the cutting edge of artistic creativity happening now.
I’ll be interviewing the newest artists to look out for, to those with astonishing careers discussing their latest artwork. Or talking with established greats of the art world about their upcoming projects, and the mistakes that they’ve learnt from along the way.
For this episode of BRUSHSTROKES, I joined Leisa Paoli, Director of FAMM (Femmes Artistes du Musée de Mougins), in DAYS cafe, Paris. Together, we explore FAMM's commitment to women artists and how its collection invites us to reconsider the art historical canon, moving from the private sphere of Mary Cassatt to the expansive abstractions of Helen Frankenthaler and the unflinching photography of Nan Goldin.
