In this episode we hear from individuals with substantial experience in imaging research, but all from very different backgrounds: Christina Malamateniou from City University London (Radiography), Graham Treece from the University of Cambridge (Engineering), and Angela Darekar from University Hospital Southampton (MRI Physics). Despite their different career paths, our guests show that there are core themes to research that include a dedication to exploration, collaboration, and mentorship, and how they are ultimately motivated by the challenge of translating a problem from first ideas to clinical implementation that directly benefits the lives of patients.
