There is higher expectation for student outcomes and family involvement. And we can name all the factors. But the bottom line is, Special and general educators are not collaborating like they used to. There's even now this this untenable thread of whether the compatriot in the classroom has the expertise to help. And that should make everybody feel uncomfortable. Yeah, we want special educators to go to general educators and see them not only as experts in their content, but also as good collaborators. […]
