[…] Was there anything particularly that stood out to you guys that surprised you in terms of what he was into, or annotated, or was engaged with there? I mean, I think for me, there was nothing that was shocking in the sense that we knew McCarty read widely in philosophy. You knew this from his work, but that was already a kind of known. Um, and if you think about, like, there have been, there's actually quite a few books on like McCarty and philosophy, and not all of them are written by philosophers. But this is, in some sense, kind of well -trodden ground in McCarty's studies. But I think two things that really stuck out to me was the sheer size of his philosophical library and the fact that the books he has are often books that specialists would have. […]
