<p>A reading of the short story written by Paraic Pearse.</p> <p>Paraic Pearse was Commander in Chief of the 1916 Easter Rising against the British forces. He was captured and executed, along with 15 others including his brother William.</p> <p>Pearse was also a writer, poet and teacher in both Irish and English and founded two Gaelic language schools. </p>
