A weekly podcast to catch you up on everything that’s new and exciting in the world of video games. We meet every Friday morning to discuss the top news of the week, notable releases on all platforms, what we’re playing, big topics of the industry and the games we love. Hosted by game developer Dan Lima (@PowerUpDan) and game reviewer Luis Menchaca (@Chacalaca88).
Luis calls for a meeting with Dan to discuss the recent news that PlayStation will cease producing physical discs starting in January 2028. They discuss how the overall games industry is going especially with how Xbox and Nintendo compare. Luis contemplates becoming a retro gamer and not buy any new consoles going forward (except Nintendo if they keep including physical media).
No timestamps, this is all one giant topic of the show.
