[…] So number one, those, as you alluded to earlier, I think a lot of those rates, those loans were written up at 0% or very low rates in 2020, 2021. And they're due. They're due now. And we've been playing this extend and pretend game for a couple of years, but you can only extend and pretend for so long. And so when those have to be refinanced and the occupancies aren't there, the revenues aren't there, you're going to see defaults and foreclosures. And then the banks that are holding that paper and can't get to even 70% of the value that they loaned on or 100%, let alone 100%. Those banks are eventually going to have to reckon with that and reconcile. […]
