One More Thing To Do [Ep. 28]

On this episode we are talking about the reality of being asked to do one more thing when our plates are already so full. We’re talking about some BIG things in this short conversation:Agency - making sure that I remember that we get to choose what and how we are thinking, feeling and acting (especially when our plates are extra full).Trust - who are we getting our directives from? can we trust them?Practicing - the power of repetitionIntentionality - what does mastery look like? And being proactive- knowing why is it worth it to do the “one more thing”.We’re sharing some simple strategies that can help us adopt new practices with the hope that the "one more thing to dos" become so natural that they are just a way of being -- and totally worth it!

Confidence [Ep. 27]

On this episode we are unpacking the definition and importance of confidence. What does it effect and who does it effect? **Spoiler Alert** The answer is EVERYTHING & EVERYONE 😊 We have gathered stories and perspectives from so many people (preschoolers through adults), and we’re delighted to add those stories to our perspectives. Confidence impacts us at every age and at every stage. In this conversation we’re bridging practical application and subtle intentionality that can help every single one of us stand and grow our own confidence. We know that our audience is made up of people that care BIG. The things that we do and the people that we support matter so much, and that is why we need to be equipped with the skill sets necessary to be confident. We want to positively impact the world and the confident versions of ourselves will be able to do so with creativity and curiosity. No matter what our leadership style. Individual confidence leads to cultural confidence. Whether it’s in your school, your home, your team or organization, confidence really does affect everything and everyone. What does confidence mean for you? We each get to build on the standard definition and define that for ourselves, and we’d love to learn how you define it for you! (We’d love to Notice you!!😊) Please feel free to reach out and start a conversation!!

Get-To vs. Have-To [Ep. 26]

On this episode we are talking about leveraging the strategy of get-to vs. have-to. When we talk about living a life full of real life positivity this quick tool is a game changer! Any time we catch ourselves saying "I have to do this." or "I have to do that.", we pause and ask a simple question, and that question has the power to change everything!! When we combine this intentionality with gratitude we can experience an authentically more positive life. We hope that you are pausing enough in your life to leverage this tool, and we hope that this conversation will inspire you to use the skill set of get-to to increase the want-to in your life.
