<p>Left-Handed Pitcher <b>Nathaniel Savino </b>attended <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potomac_Falls_High_School'>Potomac Falls High School</a> in Sterling, VA where he was recruited to The <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Virginia'>University of Virginia</a> to play college baseball, graduating early in December 2019. Savino was drafted by the <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arizona_Diamondbacks'>Arizona Diamondbacks</a> in the third round with the 82nd overall selection of the <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Major_League_Baseball_draft'>2022 Major League Baseball draft</a>. <br/><br/>That year, he batted .375 and pitched to a 0.60 ERA being named the Gatorade Virginia Baseball Player of the Year. That summer, he played in the <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Under_Armour_All-America_Baseball_Game'>Under Armour All-America Baseball Game</a> and the Perfect Game All-American Classic.  Savino pitched just over 9 innings in his freshman year at Virginia compiling a 1.93 ERA before the season was cancelled. In 2021, Savino appeared in 16 games in which he went 3-3 with a 3.79 ERA and 34 strikeouts in over 54 innings. He was named to the <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USA_Baseball'>USA Baseball Collegiate National Team</a>. Savino entered the 2022 season as Virginia&apos;s number two starter, and was named the ACC Pitcher of the Week after throwing a complete game shutout versus <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duke_University'>Duke University</a>. He finished the season having started 15 games with a 6-6 record, a 3.69 ERA, and 79 strikeouts over 78 innings.</p>

<p>Closer <b>Stephen Schoch</b> (pronounced &quot;shock&quot;) is a <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/College_baseball'>college baseball</a> <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitcher_(baseball)'>pitcher</a> from <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laurel,_Maryland'>Laurel, Maryland</a> known for his <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Submarine_(baseball)'>submarine-style</a> pitching motion style.  After transferring to <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Virginia'>UVA</a>, Schoch played for the <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virginia_Cavaliers_baseball'>Cavaliers</a> during the 2019–20 and 2020–21 seasons. <br/>In 2016, Schoch played for the <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Appalachian_State_Mountaineers_baseball'>Appalachian State Mountaineers</a>, where he posted a 4.46 <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earned_run_average'>ERA</a> in 34 +1⁄3 innings. After the Mountaineers changed coaches, he transferred to the <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Maryland,_Baltimore_County'>University of Maryland, Baltimore County</a> (UMBC). He then sat out the 2017–18 season due to NCAA transfer rules, then pitched for the <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UMBC_Retrievers_baseball'>Retrievers</a> for two seasons. He holds UMBC&apos;s record for <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Save_(baseball)'>saves</a> in a single season (10, in 2018) and overall (13). Schoch attended <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Our_Lady_of_Good_Counsel_High_School_(Maryland)'>Our Lady of Good Counsel High School</a>, where he <a href='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Letterman_(sports)'>lettered</a> in baseball in all four years.</p>
