Fighting, Life & Faith: Roll With The Punches | Kane "Kandyman" Bayer | RSCP #2
What happens when life keeps changing the game plan — but God keeps asking you to take the next step? In this episode of Real Second Chance Podcast, I sit down with my good friend Kane “Kandyman” Bayer to talk about fighting, life, faith, family and learning to roll with the punches. Kane shares his journey from growing up in India and moving to Australia, navigating his parents’ divorce and anger as a teenager, encountering God, stepping into boxing and Muay Thai, marriage, ministry, burnout, becoming a father and eventually learning to trust God through major life transitions. Through every season, one lesson kept coming back: Nothing was wasted. The good, the bad and the painful parts of our story can all become part of what God uses to shape us for what comes next. If you’re facing a season where you can’t see the next step clearly, I hope this conversation encourages you to keep moving forward and trust God with what comes next. Your worst chapter doesn’t get to write the ending. There’s still a second chance. The Part of PTSD Nobody Explained to Me
What if PTSD isn’t only about what happened to us — but also what we came to believe because of what happened to us? In this video, I share what I’ve been learning through my own experience with PTSD and Generalised Anxiety Disorder, along with ideas around trauma, fear, interpretation, and the way painful experiences can shape how we see ourselves, others, and the future. As a Christian, I believe Scripture is objective truth. 2 Timothy 3:16–17 reminds us that God’s Word is useful for teaching, correcting, and equipping us, while 2 Peter 1:3–15 shows that God equips us — but also calls us to grow, persevere, and walk faithfully. One of the biggest things I’m learning is this: The goal isn’t to pretend I don’t feel fear. It’s to stop automatically treating fear as the highest authority in the room. This video is not anti-doctor, anti-science, anti-counselling, or anti-medication. I’m simply sharing what has been helping me as I continue to heal and learn. If you’re walking through PTSD, anxiety, trauma, or fear, I hope this encourages you. Your struggle does not mean your story is over. Subscribe to Real Second Chance Podcast for more conversations about faith, healing, hardship, and hope. Your worst chapter doesn’t get to write the ending. How to HELP Someone Through PTSD and ANXIETY
If someone you love is living with PTSD, anxiety, fear, panic, or avoidance, they may not be trying to be difficult—they may be struggling in ways you cannot see. In this video, I share my own journey with PTSD and anxiety, along with practical, faith-centred ways to support a family member or friend without judging them, enabling avoidance, or trying to “fix” them too quickly. We talk about why PTSD can look different in every person, how fear can show up as anger, withdrawal, control, or avoidance, and why compassion and truth need to walk together. My hope is that this encourages both the person struggling and the people who love them: trauma may be part of your story, but it does not have to define your future. This is a personal, faith-based conversation—not medical advice. Please continue seeking appropriate professional support, treatment, and urgent help where needed. Chapters: 00:00 Why this conversation matters 00:34 PTSD, anxiety, fear and a biblical perspective 02:37 PTSD does not look the same for everyone 07:10 Why people can be misunderstood 08:22 Fear does not always look like fear 11:41 Compassion without excusing harmful behaviour 18:28 The short-term relief and long-term cost of avoidance 20:04 Helping someone without making their world smaller 23:39 Biblical hope does not deny trauma 29:20 Anxiety, control and the need for certainty 34:02 Faith is learning where to take your anxiety 35:15 How to practically support someone you love 37:47 Praying with someone—not dismissing their pain 38:33 Healthy boundaries with compassion 40:22 Truth, love and real hope 41:50 You are not your diagnosis or trauma 43:18 Taking the next faithful step 45:02 Final encouragement If this helped you, consider sharing it with someone who may need it. When Everything Still isn't ENOUGH
When life feels heavy, even the things you once prayed for can start to feel like they are not enough. In this honest walk-and-talk, I share some personal reflections from my journey through PTSD, anxiety, fear, worry, comparison, and discontentment. I’ve learned that constantly turning inward doesn’t bring the freedom we are looking for. The problem and the solution cannot exist in the same place. For me, the answer is found outside of myself—in Jesus Christ, in God’s Word, and in learning to shift my focus from pain toward truth, hope, and what I still have to be grateful for. If you are struggling with trauma, panic, fear, comparison, or feeling stuck in your pain: there is hope. You do not have to build your identity around what happened to you. Healing and freedom are possible. This is my personal faith-based perspective and testimony, not medical advice. Please seek appropriate professional support if you need it. Jesus Met Me in Anxiety & PTSD — I’m Still Healing
Jesus met me in anxiety and PTSD when I felt trapped by fear, panic attacks and hopelessness. This is not a testimony from someone who has everything perfectly fixed. God has brought real change in my life—including freedom from panic attacks—but I am still walking through areas of healing, fear and anxiety. In this video, I share honestly about the panic attacks that changed my life, the season when I could barely function, the truth of God’s Word that renewed my mind, and why I believe healing can be both immediate and progressive. This is my personal testimony and perspective, not medical advice. Please seek appropriate support from trusted health professionals, biblical counsellors and people who genuinely care for you. If you are struggling with fear, anxiety, PTSD, depression or pain, I pray this reminds you: you are not alone, you are not without hope, and Jesus can meet you where you are. #ChristianTestimony #Anxiety #PTSD 0:00 Psalm 38: A Cry From Pain 2:39 When the Panic Attacks Began 4:52 The Ambulance and Hospital Visit 8:11 Fear Took Over My Life 14:10 Trying to Find Help 19:14 Raw Prayer in the Middle of Pain 23:44 Renewing My Mind With God’s Word 25:56 The Book That Changed My Thinking 29:02 When the Panic Attacks Stopped 31:27 God Met Me, but I’m Still Healing 34:41 Healing, Sanctification and Trust 38:04 Sharing My Testimony While Still in It 41:15 There Is Hope in Jesus

Is it Over for Conor McGregor?
#ConorMcGregor #UFC #IsItOver Is it really over for Conor McGregor? A follow-up on the loss, the injury, and what's next. After Conor's tough loss and the news of what looks like a lateral meniscus tear, I wanted to wait before jumping in — there was a lot of noise and speculation flying around. In this video I break down the injury, what Dana White has said about Conor's future, and why what Conor said after the fight (about not letting shame and guilt win) stood out to me more than the result itself. I also get into 1 John 1:9 and what it actually means to "work out your salvation with fear and trembling" — because grace isn't about being perfect, it's about how you respond when you fall short. Plus a shoutout to Paddy Pimblett's insane finish on the same card, and my honest take on whether McGregor vs Khabib 2 could ever happen. Is this really the end for Conor, or does he have one more fight left in him? Let me know what you think. This channel is about where pain meets your Second Chance. Is this Conor McGregor's Second Chance?
#ConorMcGregor #SecondChance #UFC Conor McGregor is back. But is this really his second chance — or his last? The Mac is stepping back into the octagon after 5-6 years away, and everyone's asking the same question: does he still have it, or is this the biggest mistake of his career? In this video, I break down what I'm seeing in his training, the setbacks he's faced (Khabib, the court cases, the personal turmoil), and why his comeback made me think about a much bigger question than who wins the fight. I dig into Matthew 16:26 — "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world but forfeits his soul?" — and what that means for someone like Conor, who has the wealth, the fame, the brands, and still seems to be searching for something more. Whether you're here for the fight talk or the faith conversation, this one's for you. This channel is about where pain meets your second chance. Why Revenge Feels Right but Destroys You
#UnpackingForgiveness #ChristianPodcast #RealSecondChancePodcast In this conversation, I reflect on the deep pain of personal betrayal and the temptation to seek revenge. Drawing insights from Chris Brauns book 'Unpacking Forgiveness', I explore the nature of revenge, its emotional toll, and the importance of trusting in God's justice rather than taking matters into our own hands. Feelings of anger and injustice are valid, the path to healing lies in relinquishing the desire for revenge and trusting that God will ultimately administer justice. * The pain of betrayal can lead to a strong desire for revenge. * Revenge is often seen as justified but is ultimately harmful. * Every act of revenge, no matter how small, is a sin. * Pursuing revenge indicates a lack of trust in God's justice. * Revenge can create a cycle of harm and chaos. * Not taking revenge does not mean ignoring the pain. * God's justice is more complete than our own. * Forgiveness is a choice we must make repeatedly. * Emotions are valid, but they should not dictate our actions. * Trusting God allows us to release our burdens. 0:00 – Have You Ever Wanted Revenge?
