Freedom 250 - Christian TV Shift - Tampa Teen Takeover
Tonight on The Church Culture Clinic Podcast, we’re diving headfirst into some of the biggest conversations happening right now in faith, media, culture, and community leadership.
At 9 PM EST, Pastor Robert breaks down the recent seismic shifts in Christian television following the passing of legendary evangelist James Robison, the unexpected death of Joni Lamb, and the shocking demolition of the former Trinity Broadcasting Network studios in Southern California. Are we witnessing the end of an era for the billion-dollar televangelism empires that once dominated religious broadcasting? What does this mean for the future of Christian media, donor culture, streaming, and the next generation of ministry communication?
We’ll also tackle the national conversation surrounding the #Freedom250 gathering held yesterday at the National Mall in Washington, D.C., where Bishop Kelvin L. Cobaris and several prominent faith leaders addressed the crowd. Was this simply patriotic Christian expression? Or does it raise deeper questions about Christian Nationalism, the separation of church and state, and how faith intersects with American politics in 2026? We’re going there tonight.
And finally, we spotlight something positive happening right here in Tampa. Pastor Robert shares firsthand insight from this week’s community press conference at Old City Hall where pastors, civic leaders, law enforcement, and concerned citizens united to create alternatives for local youth following the recent #TeenTakeover incident at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park that resulted in 22 arrests. The response? A successful community-centered alternative event proving that solutions happen when leaders stop complaining and start collaborating. “Faith without works is dead.” — James 2:17.
