He invented low pottasium dextran lung preservation solution which is used to preserve lungs for transplant around the world. He has also pioneered the use of drones to deliver organs for transplants. He serves as the Director of the Toronto Lung transplant program and the Director of the Latner thoracic research laboratories. In this interview we talk about the process of innovation and the future of technology in healthcare.
