Combating Perfectionism On An Entrepreneurial Journey
Perfectionism is a word that lives rent free in my mind. That word alone has consumed many thoughts and much energy into trying to create this idea of the perfect day perfect life. I've been working to shift my mindset from the thought of being perfect into reminding myself of progress over perfection. Creating A Life That Is Authentic To Me
The journey I have been on lately has been about creating a life that is authentic to me. What do I want my life to look like? What feels good to me? Denying Our Feelings

Growing up in a dysfunctional home, led me to not being able to process my emotions in a healthy way. Often times I would push down those feelings over and over again until everything would over flow and explode, I then would lash out and rage. Which would lead to more uncomfortable feelings like shame and guilt. In recovery, Al-non to be exact, I learn how to work through emotions and figure out how to problem solve. A message stuck out to me the other day and I wanted to pass down the message and unpack what the message meant for me. Learning one step at a time one day at a time to show up for me. This means speaking up when I'm upset, being able to name the emotion, feel it and let is pass.
Hope this helps anyone struggling today!

xo
