[…] So I have three steps that I went through that I want to share with you. So here's where I'd start if you have lyrics, but no melody. First, find the natural rhythm in your words. Second, find the melody in one line. And then third, build out from that line. So let's walk through these steps and I'll explain each one. Step one, find the rhythm in your words. So the words that you've written, that is language. And within that language, there is a rhythm. There is a natural beat, a natural pulse, a natural flow that is already embedded within the lyrics.
