Joyful Generosity Ritual (for releasing pressure around sales & re-devoting to joyful service)✨
<p>Y’all.</p><p>You ever obsessively check your Kajabi sales, like 15 times a day, every single day of your launch?</p><p>And then either feel successful or deflated as a result of the numbers?</p><p>No? Just me? 🤣</p><p>HERE’S THE THINGGGG:</p><p>The more <strong>pressure</strong> we put on ourselves to Make That Money Or Else, <strong>the more disconnected we become from joyful generous service.</strong></p><p>And the more pressure we put on our prospective customers to fulfill our sense of inner-power, the more subconsciously repelled they’ll feel.</p><p>Energetically. Psychically. In that, <em>huh</em>…<em> something’s-off-but-I-can’t-tell-what</em> place.</p><p>Cuz, honestly?</p><p>That’s not their job.</p><p>Random people on the Internet, or even past clients and customers, didn’t sign up for the mission of making you feel good about yourself by giving you money. 😜</p><p>And another thing:</p><p>Making great money from a launch is not even a determiner of whether or not you’ll <em>feel good</em>. (Evidenced by all the people who end majorly successful launches feeling burnt out, resentful and depressed.)</p><p><strong>You feel good when you give generously from joy.</strong></p><p><strong>Let me repeat that:</strong></p><p><strong><em>YOU FEEL GOOD WHEN YOU GIVE GENEROUSLY FROM JOY.</em></strong></p><p>Without attachment to what gets offered in return.</p><p>And when you do so, the people receiving what you’re giving, tend to FEEL joyful and generous, as well.</p><p>And joyful generous feelings??? Often result in buying. Either now, or later.</p><p>OH MY GODDDDDD. WHY IS LIFE LIKE THISSS?</p><p>Anywho.</p><p>I’m a human Witch who needs to take my own medicine constantly, or else I run the risk of dwelling in fear, insecurity, clinginess and obsession like the rest of us.</p><p>SO. Here’s an itty bitty ritual I did to release pressure around sales & re-devote to joyful service.</p><p>It’s so fun. It’s SO easy. (15 min max!) And it’s so <em>effective</em>… if you actually do it, rather than just read these words, think about it, and move on.</p><p><strong>GO DO THIS:</strong></p><p><strong>1) On separate lil slips of paper, write down 2-3 things you’re doing in your business that might appear generous, but are not TRULY generous.</strong> </p><p>Ways that you are giving to get, rather than giving because you want to. </p><p>For instance, posting helpful s**t on Insta every day… not because you wanna give, but because You Need To Constantly Market For People To Hire You.</p><p><strong>2) Now write down 2-3 things you’re doing in your business that do not feel joyful. (Again, on separate lil slips.)</strong></p><p>Ways you’re showing up from a place of have-to, should or must.</p><p>For example, writing long ass session summary emails after every single client cuz someone was taught you that was “how to be a good coach”… even though it makes you wanna rip your eyeballs out.</p><p>3) Then! Burn them each, saying this spell as you do, one by one:</p><p>(In the blank space, say aloud the not-generous, not-joyful things you’re ready to release.)</p><p><strong>4) After your burning ritual, lay on the ground on your back, in a position of surrender and open receptivity. Ask whatever higher powers you believe in to HELP YOU.</strong> </p><p>Use this spell:</p><p><strong><em>Dear Life, Show me something joyful & generous that I’d be EXCITED to do in service to both myself and others.</em></strong></p><p>Say it over and over again until either a vision, phrase, sensation or instinct arises in you. Not from your mind, but from your deeper resonant knowing.</p><p><strong>5) THEN… GO DO WHAT YOU HEAR!</strong></p><p>^^This part really seals the deal y’all ;)</p><p>When I did this ritual, I was inspired to paint an eye on my forehead like a true blue Oracle Witch, and go on Insta answering people’s questions with an irreverent uncensored edge.</p><p>It was hilarious and so fun.</p><p>And really meaningful for others to receive!</p><p>A true joyful generous give.</p><p>Did I look a lil… wild??!?!!! A lil beyond the box of conventions and norms???!!</p><p>Yes. <em>Because I am ;)</em></p><p>And whaddaya know????</p><p>5 people purchased Business Witchery in the time that I was doing this ritual. BEFORE I even went on Insta.</p><p>When before that, I was in a lil few-day dry spell.</p><p>Maybe it’s coincidence? How we found the village (the wild mystical story)
<p>If you’re holding a dream that feels both impossible <em>and</em> essential…</p><p>If you think (in your very smart strategic scheming mind) that you’ve got a surefire path to achieving that dream that has everything to do with work. <strong><em>Hard</em></strong><strong> work…</strong></p><p>If you <em>know</em> deep in your bones (despite your very smart strategic mind) that life’s Big Gifts tend to be offered by way of resonance far more than clenched fist attachments…</p><p>If you miss sitting at your auntie’s kitchen table with a cup of Wild Sweet Orange tea, listening to her riveting stories of mystical encounters and fated characters… (or you never had that auntie, always longed for her)…</p><p><strong>In this podcast episode, I share the wild, serendipitous tale of how Seann and I ended up moving to a real life village.</strong></p><p>For a while there, I (like you perhaps?) forgot to practice my magic.</p><p>Stuck in the rut of linear, individualistic, capitalistic approaches to change (self-extraction as an extreme sport, ya know?), <strong>I convinced myself that to get to a village would require buying the land, gathering the people, and starting everything from scratch on my own.</strong></p><p><strong><em>Ha!</em></strong><strong> </strong></p><p>I convinced myself (scratch that, capitalism convinced me) that the way to the Other World was with the means of This World.</p><p>Audre Lorde was wise when she said, <strong><em>the master’s tools will never dismantle the master’s house.</em></strong></p><p><strong>We are living in a collective house stripped of spirit or magic, built on the foundations of pressure, force and disembodied exploitation.</strong></p><p>Maybe our <em>minds</em> have been brainwashed into believing we can “achieve” the New World with the tools of the Old… but our spirits?
