Beginning her career in St. Louis, Amy Unland's unique fusion of dark beats & dirty, techy baselines quickly earned her gigs and residencies at clubs & lounges throughout the United States. Her reputation for igniting a dance floor has given her the opportunity to play at events with artists such as Breach, Psycho Bitch, Anthony Attalla, Gene Farris, Borris, Crystal Method, Justin James, Oliver Huntemann, Uner, Oliver Giacomotto, Amine Edge and many more amazing artists. She has also played at many festivals including Ultra Music Festival, Mamby on the Beach, Riverwest Festival & more
In 2007 she relocated to Los Angeles, California where she played at venues throughout the West Coast area and began producing her own original tracks. Amy relocated to Chicago in 2010. She currently plays at some of Chicago’s top venues.
In 2014 she teamed up with DJs Romasoul and LeSprite to form the three female DJ collective, "Dirty Dish". She is also a member of the SSS Crew.
When she is not in the booth you can find her in the studio, focusing on production. She is currently signed to several labels, including Tulipa, Bottomless, Evoked Records, Worldwide Exclusive Records and Krunch Audio, which have released her original tracks and remixes. Her original track, Climbing Mountains, released on Chicago label, Bottomless, was the number one Minimal / Deep Tech releases on Beatport for ten days.
In addition to her music production work, Amy hosts a podcast called Reboot. Reboot features live sets recorded in Chicago and beyond. Each Reboot features a live set mixed by Amy and also a live set mixed by a guest DJ. Stay tuned for more delicious sounds coming soon!
