Mac im Keller, BitConnect im Kopf: Sidequests vorm Rec & Play Comeback

Nach langer Podcast-Pause sind wir zurück – remote, leicht schlecht eingepegelt, aber dafür mit viel Gesprächsstoff. Marlon ist frisch auf Mac + Logic Pro umgestiegen und kämpft sich durch neue Shortcuts, Magic-Mouse-Gewohnheiten und Setup-Fragen (FaceTime/iPhone als Kamera – wie war das nochmal?). Dazu kommt ein heißes Thema aus der Producer-Welt: Native Instruments angeblich insolvent? Wir reden über die möglichen Konsequenzen für User (Updates, Server, Downloads, Lizenzverwaltung) und dieses ganze Abo-/Plugin-Manager-Gefrickel (NI Access, iZotope, Accounts, E-Mails, Passwörter – wer kennt’s nicht?). Zwischendurch driften wir ordentlich ab: Splice-Credits, Loop-Kultur und warum manche Producer „zu billig“ wirken – aber auch: One-Shots & FX sind trotzdem praktisch. Außerdem: ein bisschen Eigenlob über frühere Releases („Editors“, „Happy“) und die Frage, wie man wieder in den kreativen Modus kommt. Highlight der Folge: das legendäre Internet-Meme Carlos Matos / BitConnect („WASSA WASSA WASSUP!“) – inklusive kurzer Live-Reaction und Scam-Story. Zum Schluss wird’s wieder zur Sache: Rec & Play startet nach Pause wieder – Donnerstag, 19.02., 19 Uhr im Cue-Dee: Beats hören, quatschen, entspanntes Community-Meetup. Und unser Appell: Support your local culture – kommt vorbei, bringt Leute mit, macht Fotos/Videos, markiert uns & das Cue-Dee.
