She arrived as a refugee. Her father was a colonel in the army of the Marxist regime that killed hundreds of thousands of Somalis. America gave the family a new life and a path to a congressional seat. She spent the next decade treating the country that took them in like an open buffet.
“Some people did some things.” That was her line on 9/11. Years later she had the chance to clarify it and turned herself into the victim instead. The same pattern shows up in the Minneapolis Feeding Our Future meal-program fraud — one of the largest COVID-era cases, with hundreds of millions diverted, the overwhelming majority of defendants Somali, and money wired overseas.
This is not assimilation. It’s extraction.

Facebook Deleted This… But Left Up the Call for “Pistols Firing” at JD Vance
Facebook removed a comment calling a public figure a “plastic-faced communist goblin” for harassment and bullying. The same platform left up her calls for “pistols firing at all times” toward JD Vance, along with calling him a racist, a failed drag queen, unfit to be a father, and an Anti-Christ-style sociopath.
Enforcement is complaint-driven. One side treats the report button as a weapon and the reviewers often agree with them. The rules are written in neutral language. The outcomes are not.
This is the asymmetry: political mockery of a face that has obviously had work done gets pulled, while rhetoric that treats a sitting vice president as fair game for extreme labels stays up.
