Recover with Carly is a podcast hosted by Carly Compton, an eating disorder survivor turned eating disorder therapist. On this podcast we will talk all things mental health, therapy, eating disorders, body liberation, and so much more!
Welcome back to the Recover with Carly Podcast!
This week I sat down with Alicia Mccarvell - an east coast Canadian plus size content creator, auntie, & a comfort creator to so many (myself included, of course).
Throughout our conversation, Alicia opens up about her journey to becoming a content creator, the reason she shows up online, being in a "mixed-value" relationship, choosing to be childfree, and the impact being an auntie has had on her.
Alicia is someone who has inspired me for many years and I'm so thankful to have sat down with her to talk about so many important and relatable topics. Alicia and I have realized we have so much in common - both married to our high school sweethearts, have chosen to be childfree, and both take our roles at aunties very seriously. I'm thankful to have someone like Alicia to relate to and to be able to share her knowledge and words of wisdom with you all.

Working Toward Repair with Olivia Bateman
Welcome back to the Recover with Carly Podcast!
It's been awhile since we released a new episode and we are so excited to be back for Season Two of the Recover with Carly Podcast!
This week I sat down with Olivia Bateman - nanny, math whiz, and daughter to Britani Bateman from the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
Throughout our conversation, Olivia opens up about the tumultuous relationships between her and her mom and the journey she has been on the heal and work toward repair. Olivia made her first appearance on the RHOSLC in season six and has been so vulnerable about her relationship with her mom & her own personal healing journey while inspiring others to have the difficult conversations.
Olivia shares with us what helped her through those difficult years and what continues to be her support systems as she continues to navigate repair with her mom. Olivia gives us a sneak peek into what she is looking forward to in 2026 and leaves us with some inspiring words of advice.
I am so thankful for the conversation I had with Olivia and am so proud of her! You can follow Olivia on Instagram and TikTok.
