Romans 12

Reader: Bek Hudson Preacher: Chris Varughese In Romans 12, from Paul's teachings, Chris tells us that there are 3 things God is calling us to do to live out God's will together: 1. To be Living Sacrifices; 2. To use the gifts we've been given for service; 3. To live as a community God's way. Red Door is an Anglican Church in Melbourne, Australia. Jonah

Reader: Esther Hudson Preacher: Josh Hennessy Regularly we look at the Book Of Jonah and think it's about a prophet and his rebellion against God. This is partially true. It's a reflection on us all, where we also rebel against God. However, the real story of this book is God's sovereignty. Even though Jonah rebels, he still carries out God's will, and in this case, God's will is to save the very people that Jonah holds immense hatred to. The question for us is, who are we to say who God can save? Red Door is an Anglican Church in Melbourne, Australia. We exist to be a community of people helping people make allbecau of life all about Jesus.

Acts 14.1-28

Reader: Jake Elzo Preacher: Jonathan Smith The final chapter in Part III of our series details a pretty wild conclusion to the first missionary journey. In Iconium, the city is divided and a plot is formed to stone Paul and Barnabas. In Lystra, Paul is first mistaken for Hermes and nearly worshipped, then stoned and left for dead in the street. In Derbe, they make many disciples - and then, remarkably, turn around and go back through every city that tried to kill them, strengthening the churches and appointing elders. The key sentence comes in v22: it is necessary to go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God. This is not a footnote. It is the pastoral message Paul and Barnabas leave in every church they plant. Suffering is not a sign that something has gone wrong - itʼs a prescription for every believer.
