The third, and hopefully, final podcast on the topic of head coverings. While the previous podcasts were a good place to start, we wanted a single resource that clearly and comprehensively explains where we now stand and why.
In this episode, we're going to do three things. First, we'll carefully walk through 1 Corinthians 11 (https://ref.ly/logosref/bible$2Besv.67.11). Second, we'll address the major objections to the transcultural interpretation. Third, we'll finish with practical pastoral application.
My goal in this updated podcast is to think carefully about what Paul teaches, why he teaches it, and what it means for our gathered worship before God, Christ, and the angels. While I will address the practice of head coverings itself, the focus of this podcast is actually broader — the focus is on rightly ordered worship.
