What happens when you’re following God, but the way forward no longer makes sense? Abraham faced such a moment in Genesis 22:1–14. After years of waiting for God’s promise to be fulfilled, God asked him to surrender the very son through whom that promise would unfold. His story invites us to consider what trusting God looks like when we don’t understand his ways.

Joining God’s Mission of Peace
Join us this Missions Sunday as we focus on God's mission to bring biblical shalom—wholeness, reconciliation, and peace—to a broken world. We will explore how divine peace flows upward toward God, inward within His family, and outward into our communities, and hear an inspiring testimony from one of our partners on what it means to step into broken places as active agents of peace.
