Hello and welcome to the Redeemer's Fellowship sermon podcast! We're so glad you're here and we can't wait to embark on this journey of faith together. Our pastors deliver Bible-centered sermons that deepen your understanding of God's word. Our goal is to help you grow in your faith and fearlessly follow Jesus. We hope you'll tune in and join us as we navigate life's ups and downs, explore the richness of scripture, and experience the joy of living in faith.
We all face seasons when our faith is shaken. In this message from Luke 22:31–34, 54–62, Pastor Billy walks through Jesus’ warning to Peter, Satan’s attempt to sift him like wheat, and Peter’s heartbreaking denial of Jesus. But this passage isn’t ultimately about Peter’s failure, it’s about how God can use even our most painful moments to refine our faith, expose our pride, and make us more like Christ. Jesus doesn’t promise that we’ll be spared from trials, but He does intercede for us and remain faithful even when we fail Him. And the good news is that failure doesn’t have to be the end of our story. Jesus restores the repentant and still has a purpose for them. If you’ve ever wondered why God allows difficult seasons or struggled with the realization that your own strength isn’t enough, this message reminds us that we can be shaken without being abandoned, refined without being destroyed, and restored by the grace of Jesus.

Faithful in the Face of Betrayal (Luke 22:47–53)
What happens when betrayal comes from someone we trust, and how do we move forward when someone close to us turns against us? In this message from Luke 22:1-6, 47-53, Pastor Billy explores Judas’s betrayal of Jesus, the motives behind his treachery, and the sobering reality of the power of darkness at work in a broken world. Through Judas’s story, we see how greed, unrepentant sin, and misplaced expectations can lead us away from Christ, even as God’s sovereign purposes continue to unfold. But this passage also points us toward Jesus, who faced betrayal without abandoning His mission. His example shows us how to acknowledge the wounds others inflict without allowing their choices to define our lives or determine our future. At the same time, we are challenged to examine our own hearts and ask whether we have ever betrayed the trust of someone else. If you’ve ever experienced the pain of betrayal, struggled to move forward after trust was broken, or wondered how to respond when someone you love turns against you, this message is for you.

The Mission Isn’t Over (Luke 21:20–24)
What did Jesus mean when He warned of Jerusalem’s destruction and declared that the times of the Gentiles had begun? And what does this period of history mean for us today? In this message from Luke 21:20–24, Pastor Billy explores Jesus’ prophecy of Jerusalem’s destruction, the judgment that would come upon the city, and the unfolding of God’s plan to take the Gospel to all nations. Jesus reminds us that God knows the future, His purposes will stand, and history is moving toward His appointed end. The times of the Gentiles are not a pause in God’s plan—they are a central part of it. Until Jesus returns, the mission of the Church remains clear: to take the good news of Jesus to every man, woman, and child, in our own communities and to the ends of the earth. The window is still open. The mission is still ours. And we must not sit it out.
