If God loves us, why does He allow us to suffer? And how can we endure hardship without becoming bitter or giving up? Today, we studied Hebrews 12:1–11 to discover that God's discipline isn't punishment; it's preparation. Like a loving father, God uses both correction and difficult circumstances to strengthen our faith, develop holiness, and prepare us for eternity. But suffering doesn't automatically make us more like Jesus. We must learn to trust God and persevere through it, even when we don't understand what He's doing. And because Jesus took the punishment our sins deserved on the cross, we can know that God's discipline isn't meant to condemn us, but to make us more like Christ. We were challenged to throw off the weights that hold us back, keep our eyes on Jesus, and trust our heavenly Father through every season of suffering. We hope this message encourages and challenges you to trust Jesus more deeply and follow Him more faithfully. Thanks for listening!

When Faith Gets Personal | Hebrews 11
Is faith simply believing that God exists, or does genuine faith require something more? In Hebrews 11, we discover that faith isn't blind belief. It's trusting the God we know with the future we don't. Through the stories of Abraham, Moses, and other heroes of faith, we see that genuine faith leads to obedience, even when we can't see the outcome. Some experienced incredible victories, while others endured terrible suffering. But all of them trusted God's promises. Ultimately, their stories point us to Jesus, the true hero of our faith, whose life, death, and resurrection have secured our future with God.
Whether you're struggling to trust God with your circumstances or wondering what it means to personally put your faith in Jesus, this message is for you. We hope this message challenges and encourages you to trust Jesus more personally and follow him more faithfully. Thanks for listening!

Nobody Walks Alone | Hebrews 10:19–39; 13:7–18
What if the reason you're struggling to grow closer to Jesus is that you're trying to follow him alone?
We've been taught to think of faith as something personal, but Hebrews challenges our individualistic approach to Christianity. In this message from our Learn to Listen series, we discover why getting closer to Jesus means getting closer to his people, how isolation makes us vulnerable to drifting away from God, and why genuine Christian community requires more than simply attending church. Jesus didn't just save us from our sin; he brought us into a family. And learning to live as that family changes everything.
We hope this encourages and challenges you. Thanks for listening!
