Welcome to Redemption’s Table – a fresh ingredient podcast. Every week I will sit down to this table with a Special Guest, share a restaurant meal or cup of coffee or an ice cream cone, and engage in a recorded podcast conversation, on site, with redemption as the main course. You’re invited to join in on this flavorful adventure that will accentuate the reality of redemption in the lives of everyday people like you and me. A reality that, I believe, finds its ultimate expression in Jesus of Nazareth, Who is the “not-so-secret ingredient” to the redemption we all seek.
Where have you seen God today? Where has He shown up in your life this week? Did you recognize Him when the moment came and went?
Join today's table podcast as we explore a little Latin phrase you've possibly never heard before. Coram Deo. It means "before the face of God" or "in the presence of God." All of life is lived out under the gaze of God.
God is watching us and He invites us to look for Him, which means we could actually lock eyes with His gaze, multiple times each and every day. Imagine that. Or catch a swift glimpse of His shadow. Or find treasure He has Easter-egged somewhere along our daily path for us to discover.
If you're not seeing God on a regular basis, could it be you're not really looking all that hard? Because God's invitation remains - "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13)
Take a break from your norm and play hide and go seek with your Creator.

Joël Malm: Hiking the Clouds
A Conversation with Special Guest: Joël Malm
Joël Malm has one of the coolest ministry jobs of anyone I know. As founder of Summit Leaders, he helps people conquer mountains. Some of those mountains appear on topographical maps; some arise in the mind or the heart
In October 2025, Joël released his 7th book - Hiking the Clouds, subtitled The Journey to Mature Faith. And according to Joël, when the journey of faith leads into the clouds, it doesn't mean you're lost - it means your climbing.
It's a joy to bring one of my favorite authors to the Table. So put on your hiking boots, grab your Bible out of your backpack, crack open 2 Peter chapter 1, and join us on the trail. You'll be glad you did.
Today's episode features music by today's special guest - Joël Malm with his song "Luminous". (Used by Permission)

On the Precipice of Everything
Welcome to the first fresh Table of the year!
During the 12 days of Christmas, I came across a sentence fragment recorded on my Notes App back in 2024. Just five words - "On the Precipice of Everything." And I wondered - "What was going in my life in that season that drew me to such a pinnacle of hope?" And then I thought, "Is there not a single solitary hour of our lives where those 5 words would not apply?" And how especially fitting for all of us who have just completed our 21-day free trial of 2026.
There's a different story going on right now than all the ones grabbing the headlines. A far better story. Our lives are truly on the precipice of everything. We've just got to look in the right place in order to see it.
Today's episode features music by one of my favorite singer-songwriters, Taylor Leonhardt, with her song "Everything". (Used by Permission)
