Refuge Podcast with Jachin Pendleton: 15-minute Bible teaching on following Jesus at any cost, from 26 years of missions in the Muslim world. Refuge exists to create a place where God feels at home, to advance the kingdom of God at all cost, and to serve the least of these in the least reached places on the planet. Jachin and Sarah Pendleton have served with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) for 26 years, in Colorado, California, Afghanistan and across the Muslim world. They've lived without a paycheck, raised seven children on mission, and watched God provide again and again. Today they live in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, where they lead United for the Least, serving persecuted believers and taking the gospel and Bibles to the least reached. In short, practical episodes made for your commute, workout or chores, Jachin teaches what the fear of the Lord looks like in everyday life: • Hearing God's voice and finding your calling • Faith, finances and radical generosity • Marriage, family calling and raising kids who fear God • Overcoming the fear of man, persecution and the urge to quit • Necessary endings, healthy spiritual leadership and testing Every message comes from Scripture and from real stories: the miracles, the dangers, the hard seasons and the lessons learned.
