The Harvest Is Still Plentiful: Biblically Observing The Attacks on Philip Anthony Mitchell | Ep. 12
What does it mean to be a laborer in a harvest that is plentiful, but underserved? In this message, Jay Shakur turns to Matthew 9 for a challenge to the American church: follow Jesus’ example of teaching, preaching, healing, and showing compassion to people in need.Current criticism of Christian ministry, specifically the targeting of Pastor Phillip Anthony Mitchell and the accusations directed at him, is a modern manifestation of the religious, lukewarm establishment that pushed against Jesus and His ministry of deliverance, healing, and call to repentance. This is a direct call to pray, follow Jesus faithfully, and take part in the work of the harvest.

The Pastor Brennan Hill Conversation | The Hidden Cost of Leadership | Ep. 11
What does it cost to lead when you are grieving, building, and being watched? Memphis Pastor Brennan Hill opens up about stepping into leadership after the loss of his father, Pastor Ricky Floyd, the pressure of carrying a legacy in Memphis, and why the strongest leaders are often the ones hurting in silence. Raised in a church that started in a living room and built on sacrifice, Brennan shares how his path from stutterer and skeptic to full-time pastor, coach, and ministry leader was shaped by disappointment, surrender, and hard lessons about calling. He and Jay Shakur get honest about what it means to lead people well when you are still learning how to lead yourself.

When Shepherds Fall: The Model for Restoring Believers who Fail - 2 Samuel 12 | Ep. 7
What happens when a spiritual leader falls? And how should the church respond when a believer fails? In this episode of Faith Uncensored, Jay Shakur examines the biblical model for responding to spiritual failure, restoration, repentance, and accountability. Scripture doesn't ignore the failures of God's people, but it also shows that failure doesn't have to be the end of someone's story. We look at what happens when shepherds fall, how believers should respond, and what genuine biblical restoration actually looks like. This isn't about excusing sin. It's about understanding the difference between accountability, condemnation, repentance, restoration, and grace—and allowing Scripture to define how the church handles fallen believers. THE WAR WITHIN THE BORN-AGAIN: Can Christians be demon-possessed? | Ep. 6
Many believers are constantly bombarded with teachings claiming they can be demon-POSSESSED. Can they? The true perpetual conflict in the believer is symbolized in the story of Jacob and Esau. Beginning in Rebekah's womb and continuing throughout their lives, their story of struggle serves as a vivid picture of the Christian experience described by the Apostle Paul in the New Testament: Just as the two babies jostled inside their mother, causing her to seek the Lord about the turmoil, believers experience an internal tug-of-war between the sin nature and the debris left behind i.e. old habits/desires and the prompting of the Holy Spirit through our Divine Nature.

The life of Abraham is one of the clearest biblical pictures of what it means to surrender to God. His story shows that surrender isn't simply giving something up—it is trusting God enough to release your right to control the outcome.
