When the Dead Speak: Dajjal, Deception, and the Limits of Perception.
In this thought-provoking episode, we explore one of the most unsettling aspects of the Dajjal’s trial — the narration that devils will appear in the form of deceased parents to convince their loved ones to follow him. Drawing from hadith in Sahih Muslim and classical scholarship from Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn Kathir, we examine the theological basis for shapeshifting within the unseen realm and why this concept is deeply rooted in Islamic tradition.
We also reflect on the modern world — from AI-generated deepfake videos that blur reality, to public revelations such as the Epstein files, and viral moments like Gabriela Rico’s disturbing outcry. As perception becomes increasingly unstable in our digital age, the line between illusion and truth grows thinner.
Is it really so difficult to believe that deception can operate on multiple layers — technological, psychological, and spiritual?
This episode challenges us to consider how emotionally vulnerable human beings are to spectacle, and why strengthening tawheed and discernment is more important than ever.
