When everything breaks, this is what you listen to.
I record these because I forget.
Not necessarily facts. I forget realizations. Things that felt absolutely clear to me in one moment somehow become blurry six months later when life changes the lighting.
So Reminding Yourself is partly a journal and partly a strange little attempt at immortality.
I leave pieces of myself behind for whoever I become next.
This one is about cards.
Life deals all of us a hand. Some are extraordinary. Some are terrible. Most are probably some irritating combination of both.
And we spend an enormous amount of energy arguing with the dealer.
Why these cards?
Why does he have better ones?
Can I trade mine?
Can I cheat?
Can I start again?
Maybe sometimes you should.
But I started wondering what would happen if some of that energy went toward simply playing the hand in front of us as well as we can.
That thought eventually led somewhere darker.
Nobody actually wins this game.
There is no immortality card hidden somewhere in the deck. No matter how much money, beauty, power, love, recognition or success someone accumulates, eventually everybody folds.
At first, that sounds horribly pessimistic.
If you win, you lose.
If you lose, you lose.
Wonderful philosophy, Keu.
But then I realized there is a third option.
Enjoy the game.
Not because you’re guaranteed to win.
Not because everything happens for a reason.
Not because the universe secretly owes you a better hand after you’ve suffered enough.
Enjoy it because you’re here.
Play your cards.
Take the risks worth taking. Fold when you need to. Learn from the hands you’ve already played. Stop staring across the table trying to calculate whether somebody else’s life is better than yours.
And when you get dealt a terrible hand, remember something strangely comforting:
It isn’t permanent either.
Another hand will be dealt.
This episode is a reminder to my future self.
Maybe yours needs to hear it too.

How I Transform Pain Into Power
Pain doesn’t feel good, but pain is necessary. It’s the GPS for survival. It’s the guidance system that tells you that you’re off course. When you make a habit of turning painful situations into powerful execution, it all starts becoming easier.
The problem is that there are many distractions out there in order to hide the pain, but at the end of the day, the pain is still there. So the more you distract yourself, just like I have tried to do lots of time, the bigger the underlying problem gets.
We all go through pain, which is part of the human condition. There’s not much we can do about pain, except learning how to manage it, minimize it and hopefully eradicate it. But it’s easier said than done. Pain is complex and usually it carries several components and each would need to be deconstructed and healed before the pain is completely gone.
So if you’re going through pain, have gone through pain or will go through pain, when you become a pain alchemist you learn to use that uncomfortable opportunity to turn that pain into absolute power.

I Wasn’t the Victim. I Was Building the Wrong Life
All my life I went from relationship to relationship trying to make something work. That is what I thought I was supposed to do. That is what I was told success looked like. And every time it failed, I looked for someone to blame. Sometimes it was me. Sometimes it was them. But the truth was deeper than that.
In this entry, I reflect on something that took me years to understand. I was not just unlucky. I was not just abandoned. I was building something that was never meant for me. And I kept trying to force it to work.
This episode is about that realization.
It is about recognizing when you are walking in the wrong direction and having the awareness to stop. It is about understanding that pain is not random. It is shaping you. It is teaching you how to climb out of the hole you are in so that one day you can build something stronger with the same tools that once saved you.
I talk about what it means to stop seeing yourself as the victim and start seeing yourself as the builder. Even when you are broken. Even when you are alone. Even when it feels like everything collapsed.
There is a moment where something clicks. Where you realize that everything you went through had a purpose. Not because it felt good. But because it forced you to become someone who cannot be broken the same way again.
If you are in that place right now, where nothing makes sense and the pain feels permanent, this is for you.
Be patient. Keep moving. Do not rush the process. There is a version of you on the other side of this that understands everything you are going through right now.
And don’t forget to Remind Yourself.
