This powerful message, “Getting the Healing I Need,” reminds us that healing is not always just about what is hurting on the outside; sometimes God wants to heal what is broken on the inside. Whether we are dealing with emotional wounds, spiritual struggles, disappointment, fear, or the pain of our past, God invites us to come before Him and allow Him to do a deeper work in our lives.

Living Above Reproach
Living above the reproach is not about living a perfect life; it is about living a surrendered life. It means allowing God to transform our hearts, align our character with His Word, and help us walk in obedience even when no one is watching. We cannot enter into the fullness of God’s promises while continually holding on to the mindset, habits, and identity of our past.

Removing the Reproach
There comes a time in every believer’s life when God calls us to confront the things that have kept us bound to our past so we can walk fully into the promises He has prepared for us. In Joshua 5, the children of Israel had crossed over the Jordan River and entered the Promised Land, yet before they could move forward in victory, God instructed Joshua to circumcise the men who had not been circumcised during their wilderness journey.
This act of circumcision was a sign of covenant, consecration, and renewed identity with God. Before Israel could fully possess the land, they had to submit to God’s instructions. Afterward, the Lord declared, “This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you!”
