Our nation is far from perfect. In fact, I would say it’s never been farther from perfect than it is today. But we have a chance to change course. We have an opportunity to stand with resolve and let the world know that we have not forgotten who we are and what we hope to one day be. We have an opportunity to reject tyranny and start the very long march back toward being that which the rest of the world wants to be.
It all begins with the simplest of things. A thing that so many have fought for and so many around the world still don’t have. Voting.
If you’re reading this then I would wager there’s a good chance you’ve already voted or would not let yourself be stopped from voting. I hope that’s true. Maybe, throughout the course of your day, you could convince one more person to vote and vote wisely.
I have a good feeling about what the election returns will say about America. If I’m wrong then we had all better buckle up because it’s going to be a very bumpy ride for many years to come.

Resistance Closing 10.16.26
This video is one of the variations of my stump speech. It’s a variation because my district is 17,000 square miles and different things are more important to different regions.
Since I can’t reach every town, let alone every person, to deliver my speech, I decided to post it. I also thought that the people across the country who have supported my campaign might be interested in hearing it. I wish I had a video of when I delivered it to the Jac-X-Press club in Pueblo. I was firing on all cylinders and delivered it very well. It’s surprisingly harder to deliver to the camera. Go figure.
We only have a couple of weeks left. How many people can you encourage to vote?
