S2 Episode 10 - Your Lack of Belief is Holding You Back
Hey there fruitful garden,
This episode talks about the difference between wearing an “affirmation” vs being the affirmation. We call ourselves believers or children of God, but we walk around like victims. We do not allow the truth of the reality of God’s presence to give us the boldness to live life without apology. Mental health only works when you believe in what you revealing through the processing of your pain. It works when you choose to stop living in denial and accept the truth for what it is. The truth hurts but it also heals. This episode is meant for me to cheer you on into a life of believing in God and every single thing he says about your life. No more questioning God’s love, provision, and his kindness towards us. It’s time to receive it and boldly walk with his banner on High. His banner over you is Love - demand it everywhere you go! Living in divided loyalty is ruining your life - choose to be loyal to God & his hope for your life.
Scripture Focus: James 1:1-12, 1 Kings 17:1-24 & 1 Samuel 17:1-50
James 1:6 - “But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.”
Here I share:
* the difference between being a “Christian” vs a believer,
* how affirmations will not work in your life until you practice them,
* how God’s thoughts have to become your lifeline - never letting them go,
* in order to solicit change - you have to change your mind - pledging loyalty to God and not people, places, or things.
Stay tuned to the end of this episode for applicable affirmations and a biblical examples.

S2 Episode 9 - Environments not Conducive for Rest
Hey there fruitful garden,
This episode emphasizes the importance of recognizing how the company you surround yourself with - will only allow you to grow or wither. So many people hold so many different perspectives whether they be good or bad, but the key is to focus on what is good for you. Many of us find ourselves coping from detrimental perspectives that were passed down to us that are wreaking havoc in our present. Walking by faith demands that we rely solely on the Mind of Christ. Whatever you were told growing up may or may not be true and when you’re ready ask God to show you if what you were shown by the people you trust is helping or hurting you. Sometime we lack freedom because we are holding onto places that are tormenting us and not nourishing us.
Trigger Warning: This episode mentions suicidal thoughts and recovery from losing self.
Scripture Focus: 2 Corinthians 3:13-18 & Matthew 7:1-5
“Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets. (Mt 7:12)
This simple statement will show you the heart of someone - understanding this golden rule shows you what root produced the fruit (behavior) in someone’s life.
Here I share:
* as a believer what type of perspectives I need to grow,
* how I lost myself in the past trusting what people say vs what they do,
* how people’s perspectives will show you what they truly believe and,
* in order to solicit change, a positive and reciprocal environment is necessary to continue the goal to heal.
Stay tuned to the end of this episode for some affirmations and a biblical examples.

S2 Episode 8 - Rest in Trusting Yourself
Hey there fruitful garden,
After a much needed break, I am closing out this season with lessons I have been learning about the effects of being too reliant on spaces of temporary relief. There are moments when we are need of support and that space of help turns into a stronghold. Leaning too much on anything temporary keeps you from growing and becoming who you were always meant to be. I share how this has happened to me and how I have chosen to move forward from it. Being more at peace with myself and focusing on the eternal source that will never fail me. Hope this helps you on your journey, feel free to chime in our chat if this resonated with you.
Scripture Focus: Genesis 42-50, Exodus 1, & Matthew 16
“And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?” Matthew 16:26 - nlt
Here I share:
* how I am moving forward after losing a beloved parent,
* how a codependent environment will keep you stagnant and not thriving,
* “following” people and your inner compass will make you lose what’s essential,
* recognizing your inner being has the blueprint of your life,
* how you don’t need other people to tell you who you are - everything you need lives within you.
Stay tuned to the end of this episode for some affirmations and a biblical example on how God believes you are enough and wants you to live in consistent freedom.
