You Can Spend Years Trying to Become Someone You Already Are
You Can Spend Years Trying to Become Someone You Already Are
Trying to become a better Christian can leave us focused on where we fall short, wondering why we aren’t further along. In Christ, we are already a new creation, and our struggles don’t undo what He has accomplished.
This short reflection invites us to discover who we are as we walk with the Lord. He opens our eyes to the life He has already given us, and as we come to know that reality through relationship with Him, it begins to transform how we live.
Scripture references: 2 Corinthians 5:17.
Topics: Identity in Christ, new creation, spiritual growth, freedom from striving, transformation, walking with God.

How Do You Rest in God? | Fear Is Not the Enemy
How do you rest in God when you still want to control everything? How do you walk with Him when the familiar reaction comes before you’ve even had time to think?
In the final episode of Fear Is Not the Enemy, we explore the shift the whole series has been building toward: from doing what we’ve been taught to do as believers, to trusting the Lord with the journey itself.
That shift begins as we bring the moment we’re actually in into our relationship with Him. We can let the Lord close while there’s still room to question what we’ve decided something means. We don’t have to take over the work just because we’ve noticed something that needs changing. We can entrust ourselves to the One who brought it into the light.
Fearful responses and old habits don’t disqualify us from His love. Our fear doesn’t undo what Jesus has finished, and we don’t have to resolve what we feel before we come.
In Episode 6, “Walking This Out,” we explore:
• The security of our identity in Christ and His finished work.• Bringing fear of rejection into our relationship with God.• Receiving His wisdom when fear shapes our conclusions.• How perfect love meets shame and the expectation of condemnation.• Renewing our minds as the Holy Spirit transforms how we see.• Recognising His work when familiar fears return.• Carrying today’s responsibilities while trusting Him with tomorrow.
His love is already present in the places where we’re still learning to trust. We can take today’s step from the security of being held by Him.
New to the series? Begin with Episode 1 of Fear Is Not the Enemy, available in this podcast.

You're Not Broken
You’re Not a Broken Person Needing to Be Fixed
You are a new creation in Christ. When we focus on our fears, reactions and struggles, we can begin treating ourselves as a problem to be solved and lose sight of the life He has already given us.
Drawing from 2 Corinthians, this short reflection explores transformation as the work of the Spirit. As His love reaches the places shaped by fear and judgment, He removes what doesn’t belong and reveals His life within us. We’re learning to live from who we already are in Christ, secure in His love as restoration unfolds.
Scripture references: 2 Corinthians 5:17; 2 Corinthians 3:18.
Topics: New creation, identity in Christ, transformation, the Holy Spirit, refining love, freedom from self-judgment, restoration.
Related Scriptures: Romans 12:2; Ephesians 4:22-24; Colossians 3:9-10; Philippians 1:6.
