Episode 14: A Mother's Perspective
🎙️ Episode 14: A Mother’s Perspective | Restored in Grace 🤍 Behind every story of survival is a family that has been impacted in ways we don’t always see. In this week’s episode of Restored in Grace, I’m joined by someone incredibly special — my mom. 🤍 This time, we’re hearing her story, her experiences, and her perspective as a mother. We dive into what it’s like watching your child go through one of the most difficult seasons of their life, the emotions that come with it, and the strength it takes to navigate those moments as a family. We also reflect on faith, healing, the lessons we’ve learned, and how our experiences have shaped the women we are today. Because healing doesn’t just affect the person who experienced the pain. It touches the people who love them, too. ✨ This episode is about a mother’s love, resilience, faith, and the power of healing across generations. Whether you’re a mother, a daughter, a survivor, or someone supporting a loved one through a difficult season, I hope this conversation reminds you that healing is possible and God’s grace is still present, even in the hardest moments. 🎧 EPISODE 14 IS OUT NOW! 🤎 SEASON 1 ANNOUNCEMENT! 🎙️ As we wrap up Episode 14, we’re also preparing to close an incredible chapter of Restored in Grace. ✨ Episode 15 will officially be the SEASON 1 FINALE! ✨ This season has been filled with vulnerability, difficult conversations, faith, growth, and healing. What started as sharing my story has become something so much bigger. We’ve had conversations that weren’t always easy, shared perspectives that needed to be heard, and created a space where healing, accountability, and faith can coexist. We have one more episode before we close out Season 1, and I can’t wait to share it with you. The season may be ending, but the journey of restoration is far from over. 🤎 Thank you to everyone who has listened, supported, shared, and been part of this journey. This is only the beginning of what God has in store. 🙏🏽 🤎 Follow @restoredingracepod for more conversations about faith, freedom, and healing. #RestoredInGrace #MothersLove #HealingJourney #DomesticViolenceAwareness #GenerationalHealing #Season1Finale #FaithOverFear #ChristianPodcast #SurvivorStories #FYP

Episode 13: Meeting Myself Again
Episode 13: Meeting Myself Again 🌿💚 Who was I before the pain? Who did I become while trying to survive? And who am I becoming now? In this episode of Restored in Grace with Ayana, we’re having an honest conversation about rediscovering yourself after a relationship that changed you. From losing pieces of my identity to finding peace, rebuilding my confidence, and learning to recognize the woman God created me to be. Healing doesn’t mean going back to who you used to be. Sometimes it means becoming someone you never had the chance to be. ❤️🩹 Philippians 1:6 reminds us that God isn’t finished with us yet. This is my journey of restoration, and maybe parts of it will speak to yours, too. 🎙️ Episode 13 is OUT NOW! #FYP #HealingJourney #ChristianTikTok #DomesticViolenceAwareness #RestoredInGrace

Episode 12: Wisdom Through Experience
🎙️ Episode 12: Wisdom Through Experience | Restored in Grace with Ayana This week on Restored in Grace, I’m welcoming a familiar and special guest back to the podcast—my dad! ❤️ In this episode, we’re diving deeper into wisdom gained through life experiences, what it truly means to be a man of character, emotional healing, accountability, relationships, and the importance of faith beyond the church walls. We often talk about healing from a woman’s perspective, but I believe it’s just as important to create space for men to be vulnerable, share their experiences, and have honest conversations about growth. My dad brings not only his perspective as a pastor, but also the wisdom he’s gained as a father and a man who has experienced life’s challenges firsthand. Because healing isn’t just for women. Growth isn’t just for one generation. And wisdom isn’t simply about what you’ve been taught—it’s about what life has taught you. ✨ Remember: Your past can teach you without defining your future. Join us for a conversation about faith, manhood, healing, and becoming who God has called us to be. 💚 Don’t forget to like, comment, share, and follow Restored in Grace with Ayana. 📲 Instagram & TikTok: @restoredingracepod #RestoredInGrace #FaithBasedPodcast #HealingJourney #GenerationalHealing #ChristianPodcast

Episode 11: I Don't Live There Anymore
Episode 11: I Don’t Live There Anymore 🤍 Healing means more than surviving the past—it means learning how to stop letting it define your present. You can remember what happened without returning to the place where it happened. In this episode of Restored in Grace, I’m talking about what it looks like to acknowledge the version of yourself that had to survive—without allowing that season to become your permanent address. We’re talking triggers, survival patterns, accountability, healing, and learning that being reminded of the past doesn’t mean you’ve gone backwards. My past is part of my story, but it is not my permanent address. “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing…” — Isaiah 43:18–19 A trigger is a reminder. It isn’t a time machine. And the version of me who survived got me here—but I don’t live there anymore. 🤎 #RestoredInGrace #HealingJourney #FaithOverFear #TraumaHealing #SurvivorHealing

Episode 10: When Your Safe Place No Longer Feels Safe
When Safety Is Taken From You | Jelena’s Story In this episode of Restored in Grace, I sit down with my cousin Jelena as she shares her experience of being stalked and what it was like having her sense of safety disrupted. We talk about the warning signs, the fear that can come with unwanted attention and repeated behavior, and the emotional impact of realizing someone has crossed boundaries you never gave them permission to cross. Jelena’s story is an important reminder that you do not have to wait for a situation to become worse before taking your discomfort seriously. Stalking can include repeated unwanted contact, showing up at places someone frequents, monitoring someone online, following them, or other patterns that cause fear or concern for safety. This conversation is about trusting your instincts, protecting your peace, speaking up, and reminding anyone experiencing something similar that they deserve to feel safe. 🤎 Grace Check: Give yourself permission to take your safety, your boundaries, and your feelings seriously. Episode 9: Meeting Myself Again
✨ Episode 9: Meeting Myself Again ✨ Healing isn’t only about getting away from what hurt you. Sometimes, it’s about figuring out who you are after survival mode ends. In this episode of Restored in Grace, I’m talking about what it has looked like to meet myself again—the things I’ve had to unlearn, what I’m discovering about myself, the uncomfortable parts of healing nobody really talks about, and the woman I’m becoming through it all. There are parts of me I’m still rebuilding, parts I’m still learning to give grace to, and parts I thought I lost that I’m finally beginning to recognize again. This episode is for anyone who has ever looked at themselves after trauma, heartbreak, abuse, or a difficult season and wondered, “Who am I now?” Maybe the answer isn’t about becoming who you used to be. Maybe it’s about meeting who you’re becoming. Grace Check: Am I giving myself grace today? How can I show myself grace this week? EPISODE 8: BREAKING THE SILENCE 🤍 Some stories are difficult to tell, but silence can carry its own weight. In this episode of Restored in Grace, I sit down with my Tía for an incredibly vulnerable conversation about sexual assault, trauma, survival, and what it means to begin healing after something that was never yours to carry. This conversation is about more than what happened. It’s about finding your voice again, giving yourself grace in the healing process, and reminding survivors that they are not alone. We also reflect on Romans 8:18 and the hope that the pain we experience does not get the final word. ⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING: This episode contains discussion of sexual assault/rape, domestic violence, abuse, and trauma. Episode 7: My Story, Part 2: The Parts I Had to Face!
Part 1 was about what happened to me. Part 2 is about what happened after. In this episode, I’m looking at my relationship from the outside for the first time and being honest about the things I couldn’t fully see while I was in it. The red flags. The ways I lost parts of myself. The moments I made excuses. And the healing that required me to face some uncomfortable truths about myself, too. This part of my story isn’t just about surviving—it’s about understanding, rebuilding, and learning who I am again outside of what I went through. If you’ve ever looked back at a relationship and wondered, “How did I not see it then?” this episode is for you. 🎙️ Part 2 of My Story is available now on Restored in Grace. #RestoredInGrace #DomesticViolenceAwareness #SurvivorStory #HealingJourney #FaithAndHealing

Episode 4: A Fathers Perspective
Restored in Grace, I sit down with my dad for a deeply personal conversation about faith, fatherhood, family, and what it means to walk beside someone through some of the hardest moments of their life. We talk about his perspective as my father, the things he witnessed throughout my experience with domestic violence, and the role faith has played in my healing and restoration. This episode is a reminder that restoration doesn’t always happen alone—sometimes God places people beside us to love us, cover us, and remind us who we are when we’ve forgotten. 🤍 Content Note: This episode includes discussions of domestic violence and trauma that may be sensitive or triggering for some listeners.
