Welcome to Retro Wars a weekly podcast series where myself and a friend talk about the games we used to play when we were kids. We will cover games from a range of consoles from the NES to the PS3. This show is for adults only.
I would love for you guys to be part of the show. By signing up for just $1.50 aus dollars a month, so roughly 70p or $1 US, you can join our discord, message me one on one, send in letters to be read on the show, take part in pateron polls for our next game and give your memories about the game we are covering that week. Any money made from Patreon will go back into the show to help make it better.
You can also support me by going to my Youtube channel, The Honest Pokemon Trainer, where I complete Pokemon challenges every three weeks.
Dragon Quest is an amazing series that I love more and more, and I finally got around to playing the 8th edition which is often called one of the best JRPGS on the PS2. This week I am joined by Keegs. He was playing the PS2 version whilst I was playing the 3DS version.

Episode 219 - Mortal Kombat 9
Finish him!!! It is back to Mortal Kombat where this week I look at the first re-boot they did in MK9. Hot off the re-emergence of fighting games thanks to Street Fighter 4, MK9 was the chance for the series to be back in the spotlight once again.
This week, I am joined by Raging Demon and Chaotic Jim from the Kommand List podcast.

Episode 218 - Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels
Think you are good at Mario, think again! Super Mario 2 or Mario the last levels is Mario but super mega hard. This week I am joined by SicJake from The Press B to cancel podcast. I love Mario, we both do, but both admit, wow, this is so challenging it is silly.
