Yerrrr! Welcome back to another episode of Return of the Mak! This week I’m joined by my boy Driver for more of a catch-up-with-the-homie type episode. We start things off with me addressing a grievance before getting into how breakups somehow always seem to fuel Driver, which leads to me diagnosing him as an avoidant in real time.
We also talk about how much people pretend on social media, whether we actually see ourselves getting married and, of course, Drake dropping “FOMO” somehow leads us to asking the important questions… did Drake smash Lena?
Then Driver talks about missing out on the Kanye show, we get into the Ajax Fairgrounds event and some Toronto podcast beef before showing love to Mac Miller with The Divine Feminine officially turning 10 and talking about what made him so special.
And somehow, we close things out debating whether you’d tell your friend that his wife cheated on him and how you’d tell him.

Wholesome Stalker (ft. Osman Ahmed)
Yerrrr! Welcome back to another episode of Return of the Mak! This week I’m joined by Osman Ahmed! We get into how he got started in photography, his journey through marketing and advertising, and realize we’ve got more in common than expected after bonding over our OFSA days. Oz also puts me onto a secret Nike store, talks about always having a bit of a temper and somehow we end up revealing Duke’s secret identity.
We also talk about Hassan Phills being one of the most down to earth people around, Toronto’s inability to be objective during the Drake and Kendrick beef and Oz gives his critique of Drake and where he thinks things stand now.
Then I recap my trip to Chicago for Kanye West’s show, including night one of the concert, a very important Kanye vs Jay-Z secret Verzuz debate and the ridiculous setlist Ye pulled out in Chicago. And, of course, we close things out with some Silly Shit.

Yerrrr! Welcome back to another episode of Return of the Mak! This week I’m joined by Slim from Coffee Break Podcast! We get into how he found success during the pandemic, the origins of Coffee Break, some of the weird DMs he’s received over the years and the story behind his most viral podcast clip.
We also talk about what goes into planning Coffee Break, moments they’ve had to completely remove from episodes and then we switch things up with a little crossover action. Slim came prepared with some AITA and moral dilemmas for us to debate, including a couple considering using a surrogate, whether a daughter should be allowed to mourn someone her family hates and whether leaving your friend behind in another country makes you an asshole.
And somehow we eventually end up uncovering the truth behind almond milk, Slim gives us his Tim Hortons conspiracy theory and, of course, we close things out with some Silly Shit.
Shoutout to Slim for coming on the pod!
