What happens when you push your body to the absolute limit… for something far greater than yourself?
In this powerful episode, Ed breaks down Project 24:70 - a 24-hour treadmill run where he covered 133 miles to shine a light on a heartbreaking reality: 70 suicides in Charleston County last year.

This was about purpose, faith, and impact.
We dive into:
The why behind Project 24:70
The mental and physical battle of running for 24 straight hours
How Jesus showed up in the hardest moments
The lives impacted and conversations started through this event

086: Training for Eternity
In this episode, I break down 1 Timothy 4:7-8 and what it means to train yourself for godliness.
As someone who loves endurance training and pushing the body, this verse is a humbling reminder: physical training has value - but spiritual training has value in every way. It prepares us not just for this life, but for eternity.
I talk about what it actually looks like to train our souls the same way we train our bodies through spiritual disciplines like time in the Word, prayer, obedience, and community. I also discuss why our motives matter - godliness must flow from love for God, not performance or appearances.
If you’re someone who values discipline, training, and growth - this conversation will challenge you to think about what you’re training for, and why it matters for eternity.

085: Becoming the Person You Strive to Be
Becoming the person you want to be isn’t about adding more discipline, motivation, or effort - it’s about letting go. In this episode, I explore the idea that who you’re striving to become isn’t far away, but is often stuck behind the version of yourself you’re unwilling to release.
Drawing from John chapter 3, I unpack what it truly means to be “born again” in Christ - not as surface level belief, but as a complete renewal of identity. Accepting Christ is easy; living for Him is costly. It requires surrendering habits, tendencies, and comforts that no longer align with who God is calling us to be.
Through personal reflection, faith, and parallels from endurance training, this episode challenges you to ask honest questions about what you’re holding onto, why growth feels hard, and what might be on the other side of surrender. The life you want may be closer than you think - it’s waiting on what you’re willing to let go of.
